  1. Really? Now why wouldn’t you want an independent body let you know if you had used absolute best practice in the establishment, scope, governance, management in regards to an organisation the ratepayers own?

    Does anyone else catch the whiff of a rodent in regards to this one like me?

    1. If 50% of councillors saw value in having an assessment done, the idea had merit. Voting against the motion, unless it was seen as expensive and unnecessary, raises suspicions. Perhaps this is earlier evidence of the mayor’s willingness to stifle debate and avoid scrutiny.
