Harbour Knights defeat St Albert’s 38 to 24 to march on to Preliminary Final

The Harbour Knights rugby team have notched up a hard fought victory over UNE’s Albies team in the New England Rugby Union Minor Semi-Final.

The win last Sunday in Coffs Harbour means the Knights travel to Armidale on Saturday to play the Tamworth Pirates for the right to play the Walcha Rams in the Grand Final.

The Knights spin the ball wide against Albies at Rugby Park, Coffs Harbour last Saturday.

The Pirates have been the only team to beat the Knights this season so far. The Knights and the Rams fought out a 31-31 draw in Round 2 in a mightly entertaining game.

The Knights Seconds are into the Grand Final having easily acounted for the Barbarians in last Saturday’s major semi-final and remain unbeaten so far this season.

The Knights Thirds have another chance to make the Grand Final in Armidale this Saturday too.
