Half way point reached in Group 2 League Comp

Game eight of 2021 and the half way point of the Group 2 Tooheys New CRL competition was reached last weekend.

Bellingen was the only club to defend their home turf inflicting a clean sweep on Woolgoolga.

Elsewhere, the away teams had a big weekend.

As the compertition breaks for the Queen’s Birthday next weekend the competition is tightening. All teams will have a break from competitions and that will allow time for injured players to recover and clubs to return to full playing strength in readiness for the run to the Semi Finals.

The second half of the season will be the most heavily contested for many years as every club currently has a chance to make the Grand Final.

The above is from the CRL Tooheys New CRL Facebook page.
