Cowper candidates climate forum Tuesday 30 April

Come to this #ClimateElection Candidates Forum to hear from the candidates of Page about how they plan to make Australia a climate leader.

A NASA map showing climate change.

Climate change is hurting Australia. Last January was the hottest month on record. There were scorching heat waves of almost 50 degrees from Adelaide to Sydney. Flash flooding in Townsville. Unprecedented wildfires in Tasmania.

Polling shows that concern for climate change is at an all time high. That’s why the Federal election in May is shaping up to be the #ClimateElection.

We know fossil fuels are the biggest driver of climate change. Australia is ready to move beyond fossil fuels towards a renewable energy future.

The #ClimateElection Candidates Forum is our opportunity to hear from the different candidates of Page about how they plan to lead Australia beyond fossil fuels. It’s also our chance to show candidates that our community want action! We need to pack out the room, so bring your friends and family as well.
