Glenn Miles – Australian Ambassador to Egypt, Sudan and Eritrea

Mr Miles will share aspects of his multifaceted, interesting and challenging role as an Australian diplomat in a region that was the ‘cradle of civilization’ and one that currently reflects the challenges and diversity of today’s global context.

The afternoon will provide opportunities for sharing, questioning, learning and reflecting. For community members it will provide opportunities to gain insight into the cultural and historical backgrounds of some of the people who have relocated to the Coffs Harbour area to help us as we build local connections. Additionally there will be an opportunity to explore the lifestyles and culture of people from a part of the world not commonly showcased in Australia.
