Harbour Knights book a home minor-semi final in NE Rugby competition

The Harbour Knights defeated the Armidale Blues comprehensively by 42-10 in the last round of the NE Rugby competition at home in torrential rain last Saturday.

The win ensures the Knights get to host a home Semi-Final this Sunday at Rugby Park in Coffs Harbour.

In addition the Knights Second and Third Division teams are in their repectiove major semi-finals in Tamworth this Saturday after two hard fought wins on the same ground last Saturday.

Then this Sunday the eyes of Coffs Coast and New England rugby fans will be fixedon Coffs Harbour as the NE Rugby Finals Series heads to the beaches with the new and mighty Harbour Knights Rugby hosting the Minor Semi-Finals fixtures.

In 1st grade the Harbour Knights (finishing in 3rd place) host UNE’s St Alberts Rugby Club.

Both teams will put everything on the line to claim their spot in the preliminary final.

Locally last Saturday the Coffs Harbour Snappers Women’s team also won the MNC-NSW Grand Final finishing the season undefeated with a 36-17 win over the Port Pirates.
